Hugs *muakss*

What gives? It’s only a hug, right? You’re bloody wrong. Yeah and I know I’m right.

Ever since the dawn of time, physical touches have been channels to show affection towards another party. Newborns thrive on that. They bask in it as if it was the warm summer sun. Toddlers stop crying when Mommy gave them a hug and their sore thumb a kiss. Kids feel secure and protected when Mom and Dad tucked them into bed. Teenagers learn to seek physical touch from other significant individuals as they near adulthood. Adults continue to have the need to feel loved even though they have become tougher and are more able to shield their emotions from others. As they age well into their twilight years, they continue to cherish the loving touch from a loved one.

This is SO major and yet people today seemed contented to let it be. My gosh, they probably should just declare a day as Hug Day and put in on the public holidays list.

I mean how could they, how could you??

Have20you20hugged20your20teddyA hug or a kiss or a small squeeze on the shoulder could mean so much to the person especially during times of need. You have no idea when is that coming. But rest assured, you will be doing that person a mega major favor just like that.

Go hug someone now, this moment, today.
